For this reason, every module we develop starts with the real-world use case. We aim to turn what information the user needs to enter, what result they need to see and how that information will be used in the field or office into a workflow that is as clear as possible.

Rather than making complex technical processes harder with unnecessary detail, we aim to create clear interfaces that guide the user step by step. It is important to us that users can reach the information they need quickly and use the application without requiring a lengthy training process.

We use a consistent structure wherever possible across calculations, reporting, audits, risk assessments, checklists and other processes. This helps different users carry out the same task in similar ways and makes results easier to compare.

It is important not only that OSH activities are carried out, but also that they can be understood retrospectively when needed. When developing YadeSafe, we consider records, reporting, output generation, follow-up and future data-management needs together.

We place importance on making the methods, references and assumptions used in our calculation and assessment tools clear. Our aim is not only for the user to see a result, but, wherever possible, to understand which inputs and which method the result is based on.
Does not replace professional judgement
YadeSafe is a decision-support and workflow platform. No digital tool should replace the judgement of a competent OSH professional, engineer, authorised person or field supervisor. Our tools are designed to support professional decision-making and make work more systematic.
One product language
We do not want the different tools within YadeSafe to look or feel like unrelated applications. From calculation tools and learning modules to equipment tracking and audit systems, our goal is for every component to operate with the same design approach, similar interaction patterns and one consistent YadeSafe experience.
Continuously evolving
Occupational health and safety needs, working methods and digital technologies continue to change. For that reason, we do not see YadeSafe as a finished, fixed product, but as a platform that continuously develops in response to user needs and real field experience.
